VSI Cursher back up hammer are equipped with tungsten carbide that protects the rotor of the VSI crusher against wear, it widely used in mining, gravel, cement, metallurgy, hydropower engineering and other industries, for the need to withstand high-speed impact and strong wear, using super wearable cemented carbide material is the most ideal choice.
The Ultimate Crushing Solution
VSI Crushers are unique due to its crushing process. Whereas most other types of crusher use metallic parts to crush, VSI uses the rock fed into the machine to crush itself. This crushing process produces the best shaped aggregates. The high velocity impact crushing achieved in VSI improves the shape of stone, reducing product moisture and thus easing the screening operations. With rock-on-rock crushing action there is advantage of cost savings, durability and unmatched performance in variety of crushing tasks.
Vertical Shaft Impactor Machine suitable for
● Ready - Mix Concrete
● Artificial Sand
● Asphalt Mix
● Base Material for Road Work
How It Works
The machine mechanism is simplified. The material to be crushed is dropped on top chute & goes through material tube on to centre of closed rotor. Material from rotor gets thrown with high centrifugal force as the rotor rotates on high rpm. When this material hits inside the Rock chamber assembly it gets shaped due to impact & depending on inertia of the material cubical shaped product falls freely due to gravity through the bottom chute. The natural way of impact & grinding of Rock on Rock results in shaping the particle like natural sand making it very close to natural sand.
Simplified Retro Fitment from Rock on Rock to Rock on metal
Rock on Rock To Rock on metal version can be easily converted by offering anvil Rings & Rock chamber combination which results in higher product yield. This simplified Retro fit can be easily & quickly installed on existing Rock on Rock model without changing the complete machine resulting in differing product needs.
The shape of the aggregates
Material that is crushed by using impact has a much more cubical shape than that of material crushed using compression.
- This is due to impact breaking the material along its weakest planes to give sound, solid and cubical particles.
- Compression crushing produces more flaky and elongated particles that are not always acceptable for modern concrete and asphalt specifications.
Impact crushing causes immediate fracture with no residual stress. This stress free condition is very valuable to construction materials. This property is one of the reason why impact crushing is widely used in the quarrying industry.
